Tabish Bhimani is an international citizen who has a keen understanding of human behavior, interaction, and perception. His cosmopolitan experience provides him with a vantage point through which he can identify the needs of, and means through which institutions and people can communicate effectively.
Born and educated in Karachi, Pakistan for the most part, Tabish applied to post-secondary institutions in Canada serving as his own counsellor.
Being an average student, Tabish was surprised when he was admitted to York University in Toronto, Ontario. However, from there, Tabish excelled to be an honors student, maintaining his standing, and being recognized in the Dean’s Academic Achievement and Sessional Academic Achievement lists.
While at York University, Tabish was the Communications Director, and then Editor for Winters Free Press, a Winters College Council publication.
Not allowing his educational pursuit to be hindered by a CUPE 3093 strike, Tabish applied to Concordia university’s Communication Studies program. Being offered admission after two rigorous stages of evaluation, Tabish took a decision that marks a turning point in his life: he accepted the offer. Tabish begins this exciting new career in the Fall of 2009.
Amongst Tabish’s interests are observing people (and himself), initiating business ventures, community work, and dreaming big…and realizing them.
